Diary #4: Jennifer Rockhill
Two months into our new season
and we already have a performance under our belts. We all participated in Fan Day; thats the event where the
stadium isto the public and everyone comes out to meet the players and
cheerleaders. Although it was hot, all
the girls kept smiles on their faces and performed very well. We danced in two shifts on the pirate ship
located in the end zone stands. Then we
went around and posed for pictures and signed autographs. It is wonderful to meet the fans one-on-one.
I am so happy to be
participating again with the TBBC. Every year it seems to get better and better. The girls are all so nice and we really get along well, even
though we come from different backgrounds and live different lifestyles. Being married and having a child, I didnt
know if I would fit in with the younger girls who are still going to school and
pursuing careers. Although I dont get
to hang out with them as much, I feel that they welcome me in all their
activities and conversations. Over the
years, I have formed friendships that I truly cherish.
The season is rapidly
approaching and it seems we are learning a new dance each week. That tends to be incredibly challenging; but
it definitely never gets boring. Last
week we all learned a routine that seemed to stump almost everyone. It was great how we all worked together to
learn it and it looks pretty good now. Game day... look out.
Well, Id better go; I need to keep practicing.
