Season 8 Playoff Picture
AFC
1. Atlanta/Stewart
- Clinched playoff berth. Can clinch division with two wins or one two
Washington losses. Currently top seed in AFC. Can earn home field advantage
throughout the playoffs with two wins. Remaining games @ K. C., vs Philadelphia
& Tennessee.
2. Denver/Broncos
- Clinched division. Can clinched home field with two wins and two Atlanta
losses, and at least 1 Washington loss. Remaining games vs. New England,
@ Tampa Bay.
3. Washington/C-Ya
- Clinched #3 seed for wildcard round of playoffs. Can still win division
with two wins and a two losses by Atlanta, or one win and three losses
by Atlanta.
4.Bills/Salley - Clinched
playoff berth. Currently a #4 seed, could fall to #5 with two losses and
one Seattle win. Remaining games: @ New Orleans, @ New England.
5. Seattle/Tavis -
Clinched at least 5th seed. Can clinch fourth seed with one win and two
Buffalo losses. Remaining games: @ Minnesota, vs. Tampa Bay.
6. Minnesota/Casualties
- Vikes control their own destiny. One win and they clinch the 6th seed.
Remaining games: vs. Seattle, Dallas, @ San Francisco.
7. 49ers/Wayne Allen
- Niners still have an outside shot. Two wins combined with two Minnesota
losses put the Niners in. Or one win and three Viking losses can also
get the Niners in. In the event both teams tie, the only San Fran advances
is a win over Minnesota, thus sweeping the Vikes 2-0. However, if the
team split head to head 1-1 the next tie break is division record, which
they are both tied, followed by conference record where Casualties has
a one game lead. The Vikes defeated K.C. early in the season, while K.C.
upended the Niners midway through the season.
NFC
1. New Orleans/Collins
- Clinched playoff berth. Can clinch division with two wins, or one New
England loss. Clinches home field advantage by winning out or with two
wins and one Philly loss. Remaining games: vs Buffalo, A Miami, vs. Pittsburgh.
2. Philadelphia/Lucas
- Clinched Madden division title, can clinch home field advantage with
two wins and at least two Saints losses. Remaining games: vs. Miami @
Atlanta.
3. New England/Santana
- Clinched #3 seed playoff berth, can clinch Landry division title with
two wins and two Collins losses. Remaining games: @ Denver, vs. Buffalo.
4. Chicago/Hussein
- Needs one win and a Chargers or Steelers loss and the Bears are in.
Remaining games: Philadelphia, @ Dallas, Green Bay, @ San Diego, vs. Carolina.
5. Dallas/Swammi -
The Cowboys can clinch a playoff berth with a Chargers are Steelers loss.
Remaining games: Chicago, San Francisco, @ Minnesota, Miami.
6. Green Bay/Pressley
- Two wins and the Pack will clinch the number 6 seed. Pack can get as
high as the #4 seed, depending on how both Chicago and Dallas finish out.
