One of Will Turner's favorite clichés is, "we like to impose our will on our opponent." Turner did lots of imposing at Nationals III, earning an overall #5 seed spanking his opponents by an average score of 42.7 pts. per game. Although this pales in comparison to fellow NOMB Lou Tillery's 60.3 ppg point differential.....a 42 point spanking is still rather severe.

Nevertheless, Will Turner dished them out unmercifully in his home town of New Orleans, site of Nationals III. His ferocious defense combined with a top flight passing attack, and some nifty running with the quarterback took Turner and his Jaguars all the way to the final eight. The stage was set for Turners prediction that he and his ace sparring partner Lou would make to the finals. Then up stepped Ray Green, with some superb stick control of his own, to foil the host plans for a hometown sweep.

The Ray Green/Will Turner game was probably one of the best games of the weekend. It rivals the classic epic battle between Pasadena Soldier and ISUX at Nationals II. It was a coming out party for Green who exhibited some wicked stick control.

You could sense the tension in the room as the crowd began to support Green. Turner's use of the controversial quarterback draw during the games drew criticism. And once he faced Ray Green, and the tide of the game began to swing in Green's favor, the room became electric as the two world class ballers treated the spectators to a game well worth paying for.

Although he loss the game to Green, Turner finished strong enough in the tourney to secure a top 5 MWS ranking.
