Sandman - Cocky Lou Share Throwback Crown
After dethroning defending GT Philly Throwback co champ Young
Gunz in the round of 8 Sandman went on to defeat Detroit's The
Ref en route to a championship matchup with BMB's Cocky Lou. However,
due to the lateness of the hour, the two ballers mutually agreed
to split the title and the prize earnings after making it to the
finals. Sandman was impressive entering the tournament as a #28
seed scoring impressive wins over EA Champion DaUntouchable, Young
Gunz, and The Ref all back to back.

| Cocky
Lou (L) and Sandman (R) may be two of the hottest ballers
in the nation. |
Cocky Lou however, may be the hottest baller on the east coast
at this moment. His showings at recent tournaments since Las Vegas
has been consistent, and his offense has been nearly unstoppable.
After falling to the #3 seed Rockin in his round robin, Lou stormed
back with a vengeance defeating the #6 seed Rob Nice, and moving
on the avenge his RR loss to Rockin when the two met in the sweet
16. In that game, Rockin jumped out to a 21 point lead on Cocky
Lou, and began to boast about his dominance to the proud BMB member.
That was the spark that ignited Lou's fire as he rattled off 31
unanswered points to take a 39-21 lead. Cocky Lou went on to dominate
the game from that point, moving on to face fellow BMB compadre
Big Game James. James, fresh off a nail biter vs. MoNutt, could
not hold off the savvy BMB veteran, as Lou went on to advance
to the finals to face Sandman.
And a great game it would have been had it not been so late.
It would have been one of the premiere matchup's of the evening.
Two dynamic offenses squaring off for the championship.
After being tabbed the one play wonder at the Vegas Mega Bowl,
Sandman showed in Philadelphia that he is far from just a one
play gimmick baller. You don't defeat the EA Champion, Young Gunz,
and The Ref doing only one thing well. His defense was solid,
and his offense explosive.
Cocky Lou however just may have the best two back shotgun offense
in the nation. The two are destined to meet again with the many
tournaments upcoming prior to nationals. Until then, we must wait
and see who will have the advantage, laying claim to the true
Gametime Philly Throwback Championship.
