The
New BIG 3

As
we grow closer and closer to Nationals and attend local and major
tournament after tournament, we seem to be witnessing our own
version of ‘A BIG THREE’ when it comes to crews. The
East Coast Madden Federation Made up of about 4 leagues across
the East coast I-95 has 3 major Leagues that seem to be dominating
tournaments across the country that they do attend. These Leagues
BMB OF BALTIMORE, BBO OF NEW YORK, and GAMETIME FROM PHILLY, from
the EA challenge to Runner up in Vegas and now with SANDMAN of
the newly constructed EBC crew along with HOVA are dominating
tournaments and making it an ALL BIG 3 final 8 to the final 4
of these crews at every tournament they attend from East to West
across the country.

We
lately are not seeing the likes of the other leagues or crews
stake their claim. Even though these leagues are very separate
entity in their own perspective they are like sparring partners
cause they play each other all the time at tournament after tournament
everywhere and just seems to make each of them better and clearly
dominate the fields. Even in Vegas out west all these crews qualified
a large number to Survival Sunday and that’s saying a lot
considering the EAST COAST FEDERATION had only a total of 35-40
ballers out of the 270 that registered overall from the west coast
and other various locations.
We
hear about new crews and leagues popping up all the time but so
far this year we keep seeing the same BIG THREE. Now with the
Philly Finale Throwback tournament over and in the books we seen
these same camps overcome what seem to be the best assembled top
ballers of the world again to stand alone a top of the mountain
and claim dominance from the final 16 to the final 4. One outside
baller even said maybe the other leagues are saving their best
game for Nationals in July…………..But the
flip side to that is like compared to a boxer…………..you
need tune up fights and tough fights to prepare you for the major
fights but if you are not even fighting at all then come that
title shot or Nationals as they say, you will be months behind
THE BIG THREE.
With
all the Major tournaments on the calendar from May 3 & 4th
to Nationals in July it will be very interesting to see the outcome
of Nationals this year compared to last years East Coast debut.
Last year The East just stepped on the scene…………this
year are they taking over?
The
next 3 months will be real interesting......
