What
is the MWS?
The MWS stands for the Madden World Syndicate. It is a League of League's
so to speak, where by all of the many Madden Leagues across the nation have
come together to support the Madden community in several ways. The MWS will
be a governing body implemented to set nationwide standards for game play.
In addition it will sanction tournaments, including nationals, and sponsor
a world wide ranking system for all of the ballers that are in the syndicate.
- How can I join
the MWS?
There are two ways to be a member of the MWS. 1, though a MWS Sanctioned League,
or 2, as Free Agent.
- How does a league
get sanctioned by the MWS?
Any league that applys to for membership in the MWS, and fulfills the necessary
requirements as stated in the MWS constitution and by-laws, and is in good
finacial standing can become a member of the MWS.
- What is a Free
Agent?
A free agent is a member of the Madden Community that does not belong to a
local or national league.
- If I am a part
of League that pays to be in the MWS, do I have to to pay individually also?
No. League dues cover everyone that is in good standing in that league.
- Is the MWS a
real organization, or just a league of leagues?
The MWS is a bona fide organize group with officers to conduct official MWS
business. The MWS officers can be found at the MWS home page.
- How will the
MWS determine rules for game play across the nation?
The Commissioner has appointed a competition committee to evaluate game play
on the latest edition of Madden football. The committee will present its report
to the MWS Council and the membership of the MWS, and the organization shall
decide appropriate disposition.
- What is a sanctioned
tournament?
A sanctioned tournament means that the MWS has approved the tournament, based
on the rules and regulations used for game play. In addition, wins in the
tournament earns participants points for the MWS rankings.
