Cleveland took a 3 - 0 lead late in the first quarter after a long drive that took over 4 minutes. The Bengals, after the kickoff, drove over 70 yards converting a pair of 4th downs pounding the ball with Corey Dillon and made it 7 - 3. After the ensuing kickoff, Tim couch throws a pass to Dudley, who catches the ball then fumbles to give the ball back to the Bengals in Cleveland territory with 3 min remaining in the half. The Bengals then drive down and score another touchdown (converting another 4th down) in the process. The score is now 14 -3 at half time.

Cleveland kicks off to the Bengals to begin the second half, but the Browns defense stiffens, forcing the Bengals to punt. On this possession, Cleveland would use uses William Green to pound the ball and eat up the clock. This drive ends up with a 4 yard pass to Quincy Morgan for a touchdown (14 - 10).

Bengals next possession, Dillon gets rocked with a couple of run blitzes. Bengals decide to go for it on 4th down again on Clevelands 40 yd line but this time does not succeed.

The Browns take over and William Green busts through the line for a 50+ yard touchdown towards the end of the 3rd quarter.

The fourth quarter is all defense. Cincinnati drives down to the Cleveland 30 yard line facing another 4th down..........what do they do???.........they go for it!!!! What happened???.......they get stuffed by the tough Cleveland defense. The Bengals could've tied with a field goal.

Cleveland gets the ball back and runs the clock giving the Bengals one last possession with no timeouts and a little over 1 minute left. Courtney Brown takes over and hurries and sacks Ferotte twice in this drive to end the game.

Final Score: Cleveland 17, Cincinnati 14
