Six
In A Row!
| |
 |
| T.O. has shown his skills are well above average,
taking lowly Cincy and Gus Ferrotte in the draft. Now the Benglas
are riding a six game winning streak, and boast one of the top
defenses in the league.. |
The
Bengals seem to impress more and more and the season goes on with
their consistent offense, and stingy defense. T.O. took the Bengals,
a team no one else dared to touch with one of the last picks in
the PFL Online Draft. And after starting 0-2 everyone may have said,
"that's why I didn't take them."
But now with the Bengals at 6-2, atop the AFC North and riding a
six game winning streak, people are not looking at how poor the
Bengals are as squad in so much as they are looking at how good
T.O. is as a baller. Just as Jay Kearney has shown with the Lions,
a great baller can beat others with marginal talent. And that's
what T.O. has seemed to do with the low rated Bengals. Led by QB
Gus Ferrotte and RB Corey Dillon,
the Bengals have been patient on offense, and stingy on defense.
Cincy ranks #2 in scoring defense in the league, and that has been
the key, in addition to the ball control style of offense T.O. Has
played.
Although
Cincy is sitting pretty at 6-2, they still have a lot of football
to play if they plan to lock down the North. With Pittsburgh looking
for revenge next week, Carolina (Wacavelli), Jacksonville (Ice),
New Orleans (Special K) and Buffalo (Nate D) in 4 of the next five
games, if T.O. wins the north, he may just be the man to beat in
the AFC playoffs.

Cincy's
schedule is murderous down the stretch. Four of the last
five opponents are either leading the division or serious
wild card contenders with only Pittsburgh (6-3) having more
than two losses. |
