Get Ready For Giant Killers

| Canty has the Cardiac Pats on an 11 game winning
streak. |
After
winning 14 games in a row to finish the season 14-2, it was quite
a surprise to say the least to see Canty fall in his first playoff
game. Call it jitters, call it bad matchups, what ever you relate
it to, the Pats couldn't make it past the first round of the playoffs.
Even after Canty got a second chance when his game with Alex
Penrod was voided, he manage to fall to Mike
Dixon's Chargers. Canty looked like a shoe in to face T.O. in
the AFC title game. But that was not to be, as his season was ended
prematurely by Dixon.

Mid Term Report Card
Coach Canty has been nothing less than impressive the past eight
weeks. After starting out 0-2, he has reeled off 8 in a row,
to move to the top spot in the AFC with the best record. What
has been the key? A potent offensive attack that has Canty averaging
32 PPG. Wins over K.C., San
Diego and Buffalo have solidified that Canty is for real.
The next three weeks will be gut check time for the Pats. Minnesota,
Detroit and the
Buffalo rematch,
all back to back.
Grade: A. (First-quarter: B; Midseason: A-plus)
