On Sundays, cornerback Brian Kelly is one of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' main protagonists, a key actor in the development of the team's plot in 2002: the pursuit of the Lombardi Trophy.

Preparing for and playing in a game each week during the NFL season is a tiring mission, like Frodo's trek across Middle Earth or a conversation with Hannibal Lecter. That's why, each Friday evening, Kelly likes to unwind with his favorite pursuit. Each weekend, the Bucs' resident movie buff heads to his favorite local theatre to take in the latest hot release.

Now, Kelly has agreed to take Buccaneers.com to the movies with him. Beginning in November, The Corner Critic began reviewing his selections for Buccaneers.com readers, beginning with Eminem's cinematic debut, 8 Mile. Kelly rates each movie on a scale of one to five footballs, and also gives insight into the film's plot, acting performances, problems and achievements.

While The Corner Critic's reviews will be found each week on the home page of Buccaneers.com, you may also return to this archive page at any time to check out all of his reviews. Click on the icons to the right to read Kelly's thoughts on the movies he has reviewed thus far.
