Over the past years the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have attempted to significantly increase
their outreach into Central Florida.
During the season, the Buccaneers host a weekly Monday Night Football party at the ESPN Club at
Disney's Boardwalk. Buccaneers players participate in live interview shows and question and answer
sessions with fans, sign autographs and distribute Buccaneers merchandise. This past season,
Buccaneers LB Derrick Brooks, S David Gibson, PK Martin Gramatica, S Dexter Jackson, QB Shaun
King, LB Shelton Quarles, T Jerry Wunsch and TE Todd Yoder all participated in the Monday Night
Football parties.
Most recently, Buccaneers LB Shelton Quarles served as an honorary captain for the
New York Fire Department football team, as they took on the Orlando Guardians at Dr.
Phillips High School.
