Feb 04 - Fox Sports game director Artie Kempner began his current position for the 2002 NFL season, so Super Bowl XXXIX on Sunday will be his first as the man in charge of the pictures. And it's a homecoming of sorts since Kempner, who now makes his home in Wilmington, Del., is a University of Florida graduate. He is recognized as one of sports television's top production professionals. He joined Fox in 1994 as one of the network's first six original directors. While this is his first Super Bowl in the lead chair, he previously served as replay director for Fox's coverage of Super Bowls XXXI, XXXIII and XXXVI. "I really don't see any changes in the Super Bowl from the regular season," Kempner said. "You better not start changing what you do at the Super Bowl."... Full Story
