If the game of
John Madden worked liked horseshoes, DC would have championship
notches on his belt. But unfortunately in this game of Madden, getting
close only gets you frustrated.
That seems to be
the story for one of the most talented ballers in the country, David
"D.C" Carter. Over the past few years, DC has been one
of the winningest coaches in the BFL,
has made it to the final 8 twice at nationals, and has reached two
BFL championships, only to fall short each time.
This year, after
having a stellar BFL season, DC suffered another tough loss in the
first round of the BFL playoffs. Combine that with a one point loss
to Winky White at nationals II and a
tough loss to eventual nationals III champion Lou
Tillery, and it seems as though DC just can't get over that
hump.
At some point,
you know DC is going to break out. When is the question. It could
very well be at Nationals IV. One thing is certain, and this that
DC didn't earn his #8 MWS ranking on a fluke. He has mad skillz,
so despite the fact that he may not have the championship brass
to back it up, look for Carter to make a serious run for the crown
in Los Angeles.
