GameTime Philly: Next Sweepstakes Cup Winner?

A good commissioner knows that his crew is only as good as its ballers. That is why Game Time Philly Commissioner Storm III has built Game Time Philly into one of the most talented leagues in the nation. GT Philly came into the MWS about a year ago. At that time only Wicked Wel was the only recognized baller in the GT Philly camp. Since then, Storm has added 40 G's, EA Madden Champion the untouchable and Sandman to name a few. Add them to an already excellent stable of ballers such as Andre the Giant, Hustleman, Tommy Gunz and Wicked Wel, Storm's crew is arguably the one of the deepest on the east coast if not the nation.

What's been the key? Great leadership. When you talk to the members of GT Philly they are saying the same thing. "Storm does a great job!" And it is evident to those outside of Philly as well when you look at the growth and development of GT Philly. "Bobby runs a first class operation," states Lou Tillery who won the 2002 Put Up Or Shut Up Tourney in Philadelphia last spring. "His tourneys are always well run and organized."

The only thing missing from the GT Philly resume? A major tournament win. Or make that, a MWS major tournament win. GT Philly already houses EA Madden King Da Untouchable, winner of the EA Sports National Championship. And while Untouchable gained national notoriety by winning the EA tournament, the MWS majors have a deeper talent pool, and that is what Storms next goal is. To have a GT Philly member named engraved in the trophy of a MWS major.

And while GT Philly didn't win the entire tourney, they held their own. Sandman made it to the championship, while Tommy Gunz & DA Untouchable advanced to the sweet 16 while 40 G's made it to the round of 32.

So move over BFL, HOB, and NOMB.....Look for GameTime Philly to challenge for the sweepstakes cup in Miami.

League Top Tier Ballers Comments
BFL Dis Dru, D.C., Timino Three of the best in the nation head to head, but early exits in the MWS majors hurting them.
BMBT Cocky Lou, Tough Tim, Big Game James We knew they did well on the east coast, but they put it down in Vegas with all three making the round of 32, and James & Cocky Lou advancing to the sweet 16.
GT Philly Sandman, Untouchable, 40 G's What can you say? EA Champ & runner up, Mega Bowl runner up.
HOB DTrain, Cdam, Widowmaker Not as potent as the other leagues top 3 but still a force to be reckoned with.
NOMB L.T., 504 Will, Ice Ellis Three of the best in the nation, not to mention to have in one league. Its still early for Will, his game usually aint at its best until around June.
