Barrow seems to be getting that old winning feeling from 1999, when he went 12-4, and into the second round of the PFL playoffs. In the San Francisco game, Barrow failed to adjust to Allen's defensive adjustments to contain Tim Brown's big plays. Barrow was going to Brown often, 8 times for 247 yds. and 3 td's. But Allen countered in the second half, leaving the field wideto compensate for containing Brown. Barrow never saw it, thus the Niners went on to win.
