Cardinals:
Better Lucky Than Good
| |
 |
| Diezy is one of the unknowns now making a name for
himself at 2-0 |
Sometimes
it is better to be lucky than good. The Bills witnessed this Tuesday
night as they faced defeat vs. the Vikings late in the fourth quarter.
With Brooks and the Vikings up 17-14 with less than two minutes
to play, Brooks called for a passing play and Duante Culpepper was
picked off. With 1:20 to play, the Bills drove 80 yards with one
time out remaining to score the go ahead TD with :10 seconds to
play. On the ensuing kickoff, the Vikings fumbled on their own five
yard line, and the opportunistic Diezy scooped up the fumble and
ran it into the endzone for another score to end the game at 28-17.
The
Bills, now at 2-0 lead the AFC East and face the 1-1 Broncos. Brooks
falls to 1-1 and he faces the 1-1 Wacavelli of the Panthers.

Diezy
has quietly emerged as the division leader in the AFC East.
Albeit Diezy's wins were rather ugly, he is 2-0 and remains
one of the leagues unbeaten. |
