Unbeatable?
| |
 |
| Dixon's defense has been inconsistent, good at times,
not as good at others.. |
Surely
John B won't talk to you about pulling a '72 Dolphins in the PFL
online. But one has to think that it has to be on his mind. The
Seahawks, Chiefs or this weeks
opponent, the Redskins may
be the only teams left with legitimate shots at sending the Rams
to the playoffs with at least one loss. At 10-0, John B is the first
in the league to clinch a playoff berth, and is now probably working
on securing home field advantage through the playoffs.
The
Rams are certainly a turf team and playing Detroit
on the road or Washington or Carolina in the snow may not be the
best scenario for the Rams.
Swammi's
Mid Term Report Card:
John B hasn't been explosive, nor has been flashy. What he has
been in consistent. The Rams have done it on defense, allowing an
average of 9.6 PPG. The way that John B has used the Rams offensively
shows that he is not all about using a high powered team. He plays
the game how it should be played, using Marshall Faulk to carry
the game, and just enough from Warner, Bruce and Holt, to take care
of business when needed. John B has shown that whether he has the
Rams or Texans, he is a solid coach, and a game tactician. Grade:

One
of the best coaches in the league, playing with the best
squad on the game is dangerous. John B has his biggest test
of the season this week when he takes on 8-2 Washington
who will be looking to add a blemish to his record. |
