Just who is Raymond James?
There are those who claim to have met him . . . which is odd, because no one associated with our firm by the name of Raymond James exists. Never did. It's simply a combination of two names, Robert James, who founded the firm in 1962, and Edward Raymond, who sold his company to Bob James in 1964.

And although no one really knows a person by the name of Raymond James, the firm itself is very well known for:

Raymond James and the Bucs
Raymond James is proud to be working with Bucs' Kicker Martin Gramatica through Kicking for Kids, a special nationwide program that provides contributions to a local children's hospital in each city that Gramatica kicks a field goal during the 2000 Buccaneers' regular and post seasons. A total of $28,750 has been donated by Raymond James to children’s hospitals around the country since the program began in 2000.

Another program that has begun with the commencement of the 2001 school year is "Tackle Math with the Bucs." This program, organized and funded by Raymond James and the Buccaneers, is designed to teach and reinforce the math skills of seventh grade students while providing an entertaining format for learning.
