The Rams made it clear,
things would be different in game two early by stopping the Vikings
on a fourth and two just inside Ram territory. Gresham then drove
straight down field and scored on a It took the Vikes two drives
to get on the board when Gary Anderson booted a 38 yard FG to
make it 8-3. Gresham came right back and scored on the ensuing

The Vikes marched back keyed by a 47 yard pass from Cunningham
to Chris Carter into Ram territory. The game only got interesting

territory. If it was not interesting enough, in the middle of
what seemed to be an apparent touchdown the game was stopped when
Gresham accidently hit the start button and paused the game. Brooks
was furious because the stoppage nullified a sure touchdown. After
the Rams took a time out according to League rules, the Vikings
went for it on 4th and 1. Palmer caught the one yard pass from
Cunningham to put the Vikings up for good. 29-23.
