Baller Q & A
w/3rd & Long.
special correspondent to the MWS/
Today we sit down with Reality Wynn a final four player
at nationals 4. Reality came out of nowhere to get into
the final 4. Many people on the east coast had never heard
of him or his game. He played with Denver and with his stick
control and the use of the big Denver WR’S took him
to the final 4. Reality lost to ICE Ellis who went on to
win the championship.
We expect to see Reality in the finals at upcoming tourneys
in the future. He is a baller who plays the game with passion
and class. Good Luck at Nationals!
3RD&Long: Tell us about the LABC?
RW: The LABC is a new league started recently,
I wanted my own identity for a league and I spoke with the
commissioner from the MPL about breaking away, got his blessing
thus the LABC was birthed.
3RD&Long: Why leave the MPL?
RW: Basically the LABC will allow me to
do a little more, linking up with other ballers and hosting
more tourneys and get more support and assistance with tourneys
and events.
3RD&Long: What would you say about
the notion that that the West Coast is weak.
RW: People said that stuff last year, a
lot of east coast cat’s woofing. However I did not
see anybody east of the Mississippi in the final 4 of the
Nationals last year. In fact the champ knocked out quite
a few of the west coast guys, including Headbuster.
3RD&Long: Let’s talk about the
Nationals 4, you lost to ICE what do you remember about
that loss?
RW: Strong Flood that play is what I remember
more than anything else. I wish I had seen the play to get
a better understanding of when he was going to run it. I
would have been better prepared to stop it. I found out
later he could only run it when he was in the middle of
the field, when he was not in the middle of the field I
was playing to try and stop the strong flood and he would
run the sweep. It was just a great play I wish I had found
it.
3RD&Long: What would you is the strongest
part of your game?
RW: My stick control is the strongest part
of my game. That is one of the reasons I don’t like
online play, it takes away from your stick control. I try
to play as straight as possible no goaline etc. In fact
I put 2002 in the playstation and found that goaline audible
down did not work like this years version.
3RD&Long: What about online play and
your thoughts about it?
RW: I am in the BFL online league. I think
it is good for tourneys and leagues. I do feel it has closed
the gap between players with people taping games and getting
better by playing so many games. Also fewer secrets are
out there now.
3RD&Long: Who are the other top ballers
in your league?
RW: I would say Powder, Lance he has won
several tourneys The Goat, Act Right is getting his game
together and the EA sports champ for LA
C Web.
3RD&Long: I know you are huge Cowboy
fan do you plan on using them in Miami.
RW: Yes I do. I think out a show of respect
you should run with your squad. They look pretty good with
the updated rosters they have 4 WR’S with 90 or better
speed and the LB’S got a great update with Hardy.
3RD&Long: Your thoughts on Vegas and
what you saw at that tourney as far as game styles.
RW: I saw a wide range of talent and skills,
lots of goaline and a lot of the big 3. I think you will
see Mike Vick in Miami a lot.
3RD&Long: What can be done to make
the Nationals experience better.
RW: We need to schedule more activities
other than just the game itself perhaps outside of the hotel
a dinner or something.
3RD&Long: I saw in the Nationals video
you were telling people how the west was going to win it,
what do you think happened.
RW: ICE and the strong flood play. It caught
us off guard and the blitzes people were running we were
not ready for them.
Thanks again Reality!
