GT Philly/HOB Flexes MWS Power

A statement was made loud and clear to the nation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the EA Madden Challenge. And that statement was the MWS Ballers are for real, and they come to play. DaUntouchable, 40 G's, Widowmaker, and D-Train stood above the rest of the competition when it was all said and done with all four MWS representatives earning a berth in the final four. Of the 10 contestants there, the MWS went a sparkling 13-3 in their round robin groups, with two of those losses coming when MWS members faced off against each other in the round robins.

Although each individual was proud of its own league and its affiliation with the MWS, they would be the first to tell you its not about arrogance. "We simply play this game too much, and play in too many high stakes tourney's not to be good at the game," Widowmaker (Kai-Free) stated. The ballers attribute their success to being in extremely talented leagues that have as many at 5-10 ballers that may rank in the top 100 of the nation.

When you look at the fact that GT Philly have the top two ballers at the EA Challenge in addition to other well know ballers such as Dickey, Tough Terry, Wicked Wel, and Andre The Giant, its now wonder that DaUntouchable and 40 G's can rep so well at a high level. The day to day competition in GT Philly is fierce.

Widowmaker & D-Train success can be traced to the fact that they not only compete in one league, but two leagues in the

Washington, DC metro area. The HOB and VPL house some of the top ballers in the north east which include the two EA challenge final four participants, C Damm, Mad Guru, Execution, and E*.

Untouchable (L) pulled off a dramatic 20-17 OT thriller over Widowmaker.

After witnessing the dominance displayed by the MWS crew at EA's Madden Challenge, it is obvious that league play is a contributing factor to these ballers ability to play on a world class level. In addition, as Widowmaker alluded, the high stakes tournaments such as Nationals, GT Philly and BMBT have escalated everyone's game up another notch.
