The
MWS is an organization that specializes
in bringing ballers together. Formed in
2001 at Nationals III, the purpose of
the MWS is to provide a governing body
for Madden Leagues across the nation that
establishes a standardized and unified
gameplay rules and philosophies. The MWS
is comprised of leagues and free agents
from all across the U.S.
Why
We Need The MWS
Because
we play the game so many different ways
across the nation, it is important that
when we come together we have a unified
standard to promote fair competition.
After Nationals II, the commissioners
in the community saw this as a void that
needed to be filled. Thus in New Orleans
at Nationals III commissioners of the
community came together and appointed
Swammi as MWS commissioner, and the MWS
has been operating ever since.
What
Can The MWS Do For You?
Having your league a part of the MWS brings
instant recognition and credibility to
your organization. Your league membership
gives you the opportunity to promote your
leauge and league events with the backing
of the power MWS network. The MWS message
board gathers over 3000 views per day
making it one of the most visted Madden
websites in the nation. In addition, we
provide links from Corradocardoso.info, the hub
of the Madden Community, and the oldest
Madden website dedicated to PS2 balling,
directly to your league's website providing
your leauge with optimal exposure. Being
an MWS member also guarantees that your
members qualify for the MWS Top 100 ranking
system. Your members can receive ranking
points for reaching your league final
four and superbowl games.
Free
Agents can become a member as well. A
Free Agent is a baller that does not reside
in a local league, but wish to compete
against the national community. Free Agents
can support the MWS with their membership,
and through membership Free Agents can
qualify for MWS ranking points gained
via officially sanctioned MWS events such
as tournaments, online leagues, and MWS
match play.
What
Does Your Membership Pay For?
Your
$65.00 League Membership helps to offset
the cost of the MWS websites including
Corradocardoso.info, the hub of the Madden Community
as well as the MWS message board, disk
storage to house MWS realted audio/video
files, and equipement and technology needed
to provide the community with the latest
updates, news and infomation regarding
Madden and Madden related events.
