	Collins will now attempt his high flying act with the likes of Ricky WIlliams.

After becoming the first rookie to win the PFL crown since Kevin Fox, Ryan Collins said goodbye to Carolina and hello to New Orleans. Collins selected the Saints with the 4th pick in the PFL first ever draft lottery. Collins, the defending PFL champion, had the least likely chance to get anything but the last pick. Despite the odds being against him, luck was in favor. Collins took the Ricky Williams and Aaron Brooks lead Saint after being awarded the #4 pick. Collins was coveting the Denver Broncos, and hoped to land one of the first two picks. After Tony Gray folied Collins hopes of landing the Bronc's, Collins grabbed up the New Orleans Saints, relinquishing the reigns of the team that won him PFL superbowl V.

Collins can now look forward to perhaps a more potent offense than he had while in Carolina. That in itself will be frightning for most PFL opponents. With the mobile Aaron Brooks, and the tough running Ricky Willaims, Collins has an excellent nucleus playmakers. Add Horne leading a good receiver corps and a solid defense lead by LeRoi Glover, Collins has to like his chances to repeat.

Collins, ranked #11 in the world by the MWS, faired well at Nationals IV using the Panthers. After going 3-0 in the prelims, Collins advanced to the second round of survivor sunday before falling to Marc The Upsetter.
