Can Gray Keep Hope Alive?
If you are 4-7, should you even be thinking about the post season? Is it time to start thinking about rebuilding and perhaps changing teams. One would probably think so, but that is not the case with Tony Gray and the PFL Patriots. Though he is only 4-7, Gray still sees a glimmering ray of hope that his Pats can back into the playoffs this season. Gray came to the PFL after THE LEAGUE revoked Rick Fox application to play with the PFL Falcons. While Gray considers himself an experienced baller, coming into the PFL onng day, without playing in the tournament, without playing so much as a scrimmage on the PS2 vs. other PFL ballers, may have been a bit overwhelming. Nevertheless, Gray has proven to be an excellent find for THE LEAGUE. He has been competitive in most of his games, but hasn't quite been able to put a string of wins together. A string of wins is what he desperately needs at this point in the season as he battles with the Titans for the 6th and final playoff spot.

An Uphill Battle
The schedule maker wasn't considering Gray's chances on a post season bid when they laid out Tampa, Carolina and Minnesota for three of the Pats final four games. Six wins maybe what it takes to get the final playoff spot in the NFC. Gray has four, he will see the struggling Colts in week 15, which means if he takes care of business with Indy, he will need to upset either the defending champs, undefeated Collins, or Kwan Drake. Gray did lose a 27-24 OT thriller to Drake in week two. He will need to finish the job against Drake this time (Sunday) if he plans to have any hopes of making the playoffs. Once in the postseason, anything can happen. The Titans schedule, while not a cakewalk, is a little less ambitious than that of the Pats. Hines will be looking at the Rams, Raiders and Denver before closing with the Colts. Indy can play spoiler for either of these two teams since they both face Zo's Colts. However, with Hines getting the Denver forfeit, he only need to win one of the other games to basically sew up the berth. The bottom line is Gray, needs upsets. Hines, no slip ups.
