Swammi
Laying Low For Jags Miscue
With Minnesota, St.
Louis and Buffalo
remaining on the Jaguars
schedule, Swammi is hoping someone can catch the Jags napping and
add another loss to their record. A loss or two will give Dallas
a shot at a division title, their second in three years. That is
not to say the Pokes have smooth sailing the rest of the way. They
must face a resilient Raider
club this week, in addition to San
Francisco who is playing well in week 13, and the Jags again
in week 15 which very well could be for the division title.
The Dallas D has
pitched another shut out last week against the Colts
blanking Zo's club 38-0.
It is the fourth shut out for Doomsday this season, a league high.
This week in addition to the Raiders Dallas faces a struggling Bronco
team. The Broncs have gotten off to a slow start at 1-4, but are
the type of ball club that can turn it around quick. It's been a
while since Alex Smolka has enjoyed the type of glory he experienced
in 1998 when the Pats took him to the Superbowl in which he was
one interception from winning. Now Smolka is in Denver and trying
to find his way with his new team.
Although The Swam
should handle the business in his games this week, but neither of
these teams should be looked past. If so, Dallas will find it harder
to catch the Jags, because Hilton has been burying his opponents
each week without looking back.
