Champ
Gets A Mulligan
No one can say that Ice doesn't take advantage of second
chances. After the AFC Playoff Blunder, Ice was able to
get another shot at making history. Alex Penrod's loss
was voided by The Swammi after it was revealed that Penrod
was incorrectly credited with a win that he didn't earn
vs. Cleveland. Thus making Penrod's record 9-7, this cleared
the way for Nate Diezy to have to line up against Ice
in a replay of the entire AFC playoffs.
It all worked out beautifully for Ice who faced defeated
Diezy in route to topping T.O. Now the champ is back where
he is comfortable at......playing for the championship.
Ellis took care of Mike Dixon in the AFC title game 24-11
setting up another BFL-NOMB matchup for the PFL Online
Superbowl. Ice will face John B, who was victorious over
Jay Kearney in the NFC title game in PFL Online Superbowl
I.
Vince Miller squared off against Lou Tillery in the OCS
Tournament #1 just over a month ago. Now these two powerhouses
collide again for the PFL Online title. The game will
be played Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 9:00 PM ET.
Swammi's Mid Term Report Card
For a brief moment it seemed as
though we were going to witness the fall of the NOMB right
before our online eyes when 504 Will and Ice Ellis both
hit skid road, particularly Ice after week 2. Since then,
the defending National Champion has gone on a 4 game winning
streak, and has played his way back to the top of his
division. His signature game may have been the 59-14 lambasting
he put on Washington's
Moze Dawg. ellis now seems to have his offense back
on track, while his defense is not giving up nearly as
many points per game as he was early in the season. The
Champ has made his statement, that he wants to crowns....Nationals
he already has, now he sets his sights on the PFL Online.
Grade: B. (First-quarter: C Midseason: A)
