Preps For Second Term

THE LEAGUE
voted unanimously for a second term for Commissioner David Hines. Hines,
who joined the PFL in 1999 served his first term as commissioner last
season. "It was a rocky road with some rough spots last season,"
stated Hines on his first term. "But we held it together and I feel
like this will be a much better year." In addition to Hines re-upping
for a second term, THE LEAGUE voted to bring back to the Executive Board
some of the experience and depth that helped to build The PFL into the
league that it is today. Antonio Womack returns for a second stint as
Deputy Commissioner, a post he held from . Wayne Allen remains
on the board as Member At Large. Allen was the first commissioner of THE
LEAGUE, holding that post down for three years from 1996-1999. He is now
in his third term as member at large. The Swammi also return to his first
office in the PFL as Executive Director, a post he held during Commissioner
Allen's tenure from 1996-1999. Swam then served the next three years as
THE LEAGUE's second commissioner from 1999-2002.
Hines remains
the fourth commissioner of THE LEAGUE, taking over for Teddy Brown who
held the office from .
